Our Experience
Doug Forbes, C.D., is a seasoned draftsman and designer with a wealth of experience in the Design-Build Construction Industry. He began his career in residential contracting in San Antonio, TX, and is a certified architectural drafter through the ADDA. Doug is also a member of the American Institute of Building Designers and holds a residential building contractor license (#RBC-21-01412). As a dual resident of the United States and Mexico, Doug brings a unique perspective to his work, blending his expertise in wood framing with knowledge of CMU/CBS structures and diverse design concepts from various cultures. Doug has received recognition for his work with back-to-back wins in the 2023 and 2024 Chief Architect Design Contest, a testament to Doug’s ability to deliver visually compelling and structurally sound designs. With an eye for detail and a commitment to innovation, D-Forbes Design offers clients thoughtfully crafted plans that balance aesthetic appeal, functionality, and buildability.
